ヨガマット、ベルト2本、ブリック2個、ブランケット（サルバンガーサナに必要な枚数）

※プロップスがない場合、あるもので代用してください。
※オンラインでの参加に必要なアプリは、zoomです。あらかじめインストールしておいてください。また、アカウントは、英字の実名でお願いいたします（参加確認、講師とのコミュニケーションのため）。

マーラが初めてインドを訪れたのは仏教哲学の学位取得のための研究が目的でしたが、その後繰り返しプネーを訪問し、グルジ、ギータジ、プラシャントジの下で研鑽を重ねました。
現在は、ロサンゼルスでのパブリッククラスの指導、南北カリフォルニア州における指導員養成、全米および世界各国での国際的なワークショップを主導する一方で、米国アイアンガーヨガナショナルアソシエーション（複数ある米国のＩＹ協会の１つ）や、認定証委員会の要職を務めてきました。
また、米国の名門校の１つであるカリフォルニア大学ロサンゼルス校（UCLA）におけるヨガに関する医学研究（うつ病、不安神経症、過敏性腸症候群（IBS）の治療法としてのヨガ）に対して支援を行ない、さらには、UCLAに付設されている４つの健康科学分野の専門大学院の１つであるデイヴィッド・ゲフィン医科大学院のカリキュラムに組み込まれる最初のヨガセラピーコンテンツの作成にも携わりました。
さらには、ヨガの癒しを、それを必要とする人々へ、地域社会を通じて提供できるよう、非営利団体であるIyengar Yoga Therapeuticsの創立理事としての立場から推進しています。
こうした彼女の活動歴はすでに25年以上にわたり継続しており、米国から全世界へ向けて13か国語に翻訳・発信されている「ヨガ・ジャーナル」誌では、2008年に「ヨガの未来を形作る２１人の若手ヨガ・ティーチャー」の一人としてマーラ・アプトに脚光を当てました。
そして何よりも、彼女のこれらの活動に対し絶大な信頼を寄せ厚い親交を結んでいたのがギータジでした。アイアンガーヨガを実践し、アイアンガーヨガの優れた恩恵を実感し、現代社会に生きる人々へ、実際的に役立ててもらえるように、また、必要とする人々が皆実践できるように日々尽力し続けているマーラ。彼女と一緒にヨガの学びを深める３日間に、皆さま奮ってご参加ください。

Marla Apt Online Workshops in 2020 (With Japanese interpreter)

Anyone who has been practicing yoga for more than half a year can participate (not limited to members).
What to use:
A mat, 2 belts, 2 blocks and some blankets (as many as you need to use for sarvangasana)
*Please prepare if you have a chair.
*If there are no props, please use something else.
*The application software required for online participation is zoom.
Please install it in advance. The account name must be in English. This is because the organizer will confirm your check-in. Instructors can also read your name.

About Marla Apt
Marla Apt, a Senior Intermediate Level certified Iyengar Yoga teacher, is based in Los Angeles. Though her initial visit to India aimed to research Buddhist philosophy for her degree, she returned to Pune repeatedly and studied with Guruji, Geetaji and Prashantji.While Marla teaches public classes and conducts teacher training in addition to teaching workshops in the US and internationally, she's held important positions at IYNAUS (Iyengar Yoga National Association of US) and the assessment committee.
Simply, she supports medical research (therapy for depression, anxiety and irritable bowel syndrome) from yogic aspect at UCLA and helps create yoga therapy contents for the curriculum at David Geffen School of Medicine. She also offers those who have problems the benefit of yoga through Iyengar Yoga Therapeutics.
Such her dedicated activities have continued more than 25 years and Yoga Journal magazine spotlighted her as one of the talented young teachers shaping the future of yoga under 40 in 2008.
